The public is invited to attend a Contingency Notebook workshop on Monday, April 29th from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Porter County Public Library—Portage Branch, 2665 Irving Street in Portage. The workshop is sponsored by the VNA Forever Society of the Visiting Nurse Association of NWI.
A contingency notebook is a three-ring binder containing all the information a loved one or personal representative needs to know, should you become seriously incapacitated or even die. When tragedy strikes, it's no time to go through drawers, filing cabinets and shoeboxes looking for pertinent information!
If you do not already have a contingency notebook, emergency file, or crisis notebook with such information, this workshop will help you get started.
The VNA Forever Society will provide a three-ring binder and notebook materials, as well as refreshments for attendees. Please register by calling 219-531-8076 or email at efrenzel@vnanwi.org by Wednesday, April 24th. Seating is limited.
