VNA HOSPICE OF NORTHWEST INDIANA ACHIEVES ACCREDITATION WITH ACHC

VNA Hospice of Northwest Indiana proudly announces that it has
achieved full accreditation through Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) for its hospice services, both inpatient and outpatient.

Accreditation is a process through which healthcare organizations demonstrate compliance with national standards. Accreditation by ACHC reflects an organization’s dedication and commitment to meeting standards that facilitate a higher level of performance and patient care.

This is the fourth consecutive 3-year accreditation the VNA Hospice has received from ACHC demonstrating a pattern of excellence. “I’m very proud of our team who has accepted this accountability for excellence,” said Bob Franko, VNA Hospice’s president and CEO. “We have extremely high standards for care and understand the privilege of trust we’re honored with from our families and referral sources,” he said. “I hope this accreditation further conveys that we take very seriously the care we provide and the satisfaction of our patients and families,” Franko said. VNA Hospice of Northwest Indiana serves six counties with its hospice care and maintains the Arthur B. and Ethel V. Horton Hospice inpatient center in Valparaiso. VNA Hospice also offers VNA Meals on Wheels of Porter County, a Medical Guardian alert button, and offers a variety of grief support services including the Phoenix Center, a grief support program for kids. The organization serves over 600 people a day across its service lines.
