Organizers are in the final stretch of planning for the Gary Air Show and are extending a final invitation to vendors and sponsors.
Planned for July 11-12 from 11:00a.m. – 3:00p.m. daily in the City’s scenic Marquette Park, the event is expected to attract thousands of spectators from all over Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland.
“The committee has been working hard to ensure that the Gary Air Show is a success,” said Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson. “Vendors and sponsors have been signing up, but there’s still time for more to get onboard.”
Both vendor and sponsorship packets are available for download at Gary-Airshow.com. Hard copies can also be obtained at the public information desk at Gary City Hall, 401 Broadway in downtown Gary.
Two major acts have confirmed their appearance – The United States Air Force Thunderbirds and the United States Army Golden Knights. Other acts scheduled to perform include Aeroshell, Aerostars, AeroDynamix, Lima Lima and the Firebirds. A complete listing of performers can be found on the website – Gary-Airshow.com.
