United Way of Porter County Online Report Available

unitedway portercountyUnited Way of Porter County (UWPC) is pleased to announce a new tool that will benefit Porter County. This tool, available on UWPC’s website, will allow human service planners and providers in Porter County to have easy access to data that will help them focus their resources more effectively in our community and can make a bigger impact.

The Community Report Card was developed by the Polis Center at IUPUI for the Indiana Association of United Ways. The project has been in development since last summer to create the new tool easily accessible through each local United Way or United Fund. A task group of local United Way leaders guided the development of the Community Report Card.

The work group determined data indicators in the areas of education, financial stability, and health. The data is updated quarterly and is presented by county or aggregated for those United Ways serving multiple counties. An introductory page is a summary of county indicators with additional details available on the website.
