United Way of Porter County Invites You to Be a Part of Giving Tuesday!

giving-tuesday#GivingTuesday inspires personal philanthropy and encourages bigger, better and smarter charitable giving during the holiday season. Show that the world truly gives as good as it gets.

The third annual #GivingTuesday will take place on December 2, 2014. This year, we are encouraging you to donate to United Way of Porter County's Power of Youth initiative! The Power of Youth council consists of students from every Porter County high school who exhibit a passion for community through service and leadership.

Power of Youth offers students a chance to become advocates on issues that affect teens in our community. With their current focus of building self-esteem in teens, they conduct fundraisers and allocate funds to community programs that benefit their cause. They also do community service projects, build leadership skills, have access to a larger network of like-minded teens and the opportunity to learn from the United Way of Porter County.

Help our teens make an impact on youth self-esteem!
