United Way of LaPorte County Vice Chairman Angela Nelson-Deuitch, Public Affairs Manager for NIPSCO, received the 2017 award given to NISPCO for “Volunteer and Company of the Year” during the recent Indiana Association of United Ways Annual Leadership Conference in Indianapolis.
NIPSCO, The Northern Indiana Public Service Company and their parent company NiSource, represented by Angela Nelson-Deuitch, has been an outstanding community partner. They provide corporate sponsorship for United Way events and Kindergarten Countdown Camps and in over 6 years, they have donated thousands of dollars to our local United Way! Angela represents NIPSCO on the United Way Board of Directors as Vice Chair, oversees our Student United Way efforts, leads NIPSCO volunteers for Day of Caring, and is Vice President of the Women United affinity group. NIPSCO is a philanthropic leader in LaPorte County and United Way of LaPorte County is honored that they support our local community through United Way! NIPSCO and United Way: Our light shines bright, and our hearts are filled with warmth. Accepting the award (from L to R) are Kris Pate (Executive Director. Additionally, United Way of LaPorte County won FIRST PLACE in the “Golden Excellence In Media Contest” for their Annual Golf Outing and Registration Flyer originally designed by Kesha Pate and Ahsek Media.
