Trivia Night is raising Funds for Education

highland-edu-foundation-trivia-night-2018Highland Education Foundation is hosting the second annual Trivia Night to raise money for enhancements and innovations in the classroom.

The event will take place at The Room, located at 8353 Indianapolis Boulevard in Highland, starting at 6 p.m. on April 21.

The event welcomes everyone over the age of 21 and is being sponsored by Regional Federal Credit Union. Food, pop, draft beer and select wines will be provided. There will be teams of eight at the event, but if you have less than eight you can join other participants to form a team. The cost per person is $30, but if you wanted to reserve an entire table it is $225.

Last year’s event sold out and HEF raised close to $5000 with the help of the participants and other community contributions that was used to award grants last fall. The proceeds from the event will continue to go toward future grants that give Highland teachers the ability to enhance the learning experiences for students

“The best part of the even was seeing how the community at large along with educators and administrators come together and support public education,” said Judi Caddick, president of HEF.

All reservations must be made by April 19. There will be no tickets sold at the door. If you are interested in reserving a table or have questions, please contact HEF at hefevents@gmail.com. You may also contact Cadddick for further questions at 219-923-7621.

The Highland Education Foundation is a non-profit organization that was established to foster and facilitate excellence in teaching and to enhance the learning experience of the students.
