Northwest Indiana WorkOne will be kicking off four free certification training programs for individuals wanting a career in retail beginning in January. Certifications are recognized through the National Retail Federation, Loss Prevention Foundation, and a Retail Supply Chain Certification.
The Retail Supply Chain Certification training will be from January 10-March 29, 2017, Retail Management training will be from January 23-March 20, 2017 and Customer Services & Sales training will be from January 23-February 17, 2017, and Loss Prevention training will be from February 20-March 24, 2017. Training takes place at the Retail Training Lab at Southlake Mall in Merrillville and will include some online coursework.
