The Central Park Market resumes its normal hours this Friday featuring all your local vendors and live music provided by “Hot Sauce”. Come on out and enjoy some fellowship time with your community and neighbors.
The Annual Griffith Fire Department Dance & Fundraiser will be held at the Central Fire Station on Saturday July 11thfrom 6:00pm until 12:00am at the Central Fire Station located at 130 N Lafayette St. admission is $2.50 which includes entry into the cash raffle. The live musical performance will be provided by the Relics as the grill is kept hot for your eating pleasure. Come out and bring the family to enjoy time with your exceptional firefighters as proceeds from the event go the Firefighters Association.
On Friday July 17th and Saturday 18th from 4 pm - 11 pm, the Griffith Historical Society will be hosting their beer garden event at the old Railroad Depot Museum on South Broad Street. Come out and enjoy food, fellowship and live music as proceeds go to the Griffith Historical Society and their efforts to preserve the ongoing history of our special and unique community.
The annual Park Full of Art event will take place on Saturday July 18th and Sunday July 19th from 10 am - 5 pm in Central Park. See arts and crafts from many vendors, and enjoy food vendors as well. The usual Griffith Central Market will NOT be held on the 17th due to set up for the Park Full of Art.
On Wednesday July 22nd from 6:00pm to 8:30pm a Canvas Painting Event for all ages will be held at the Central Park Pavilion which includes instructions and art supplies for a reasonable fee. For further details on this and other upcoming events, please go to the town’s website.
