Join us Tuesday, October 21st from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the Cedar Lake Town Hall Meeting Room for the revealing of the town’s newly designed logo. Town Council Members and Cedar Lake Staff are proud to share this exciting time with residents and visitors, as they enter into the beginning stages of a rebrand. The town is also honored to have special guest speaker, Speros A. Batistatos, President/CEO of the South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority, in attendance to commemorate our new identity. Giveaways and refreshments will follow the revealing of the new logo for all who attend.
Cedar Lake’s new logo is only the start of a newly developing image for the town. Being only a short distance from the shores of beautiful Lake Michigan and the city of Chicago, as well as a neighbor to many surrounding Northwest Indiana communities, the Town of Cedar Lake has potential to serve as a destination for all to enjoy. Just miles from home, Cedar Lake offers many lake activities, restaurants, and breathtaking sunset views that make it extraordinarily unique and welcoming.
“We want residents and visitors to experience the many leisure activities that Cedar Lake has to offer,” explains Town Administrative Assistant, Nicole Hoekstra. “We want to give everyone the opportunity to explore that close to home, and return for family-fun on a regular basis.”
Cedar Lake has teamed up with Mixdesign, Inc. out of Schererville, IN, to begin working through the stages of a rebrand. In addition to the design of the town’s new logo, Mixdesign is currently working on development of the new Cedar Lake website as well as the planning and installation of new monuments and directional signage in 2015.
