The Summer Symphony middle and high school orchestras, run by Cindy and Tom Schnabel, will showcase the music they have learned this summer on Sunday, August 10 at 3 p.m.
Every year, students from all over the region are invited to join the group to as a way to stay active on their instrument between school years and to provide the community with an enjoyable summer concert.
The concert, which will last about an hour, will take place at Friendship Land Park in Chesterton at the corner of 5th Street and Morgan Avenue. Limited parking will be available around the park, as well as at Chesterton Middle School. Anyone who wishes to attend should bring lawn chairs or a blanket.
