The Stars Come Out for Pet Rock 2015

Pet-Rock-2015-CollageThe beautiful and spacious County Line Orchard in Hobart, Indiana will again be the site for The Humane Society of Northwest Indiana's annual "PET ROCK" fundraiser, which features live entertainment, a silent auction, a live auction items, food options, a cash bar and more. Doors open at 5pm for VIP ticket holders and 5:30pm for General Admission. Entertainment begins at 6pm.

Entertainment for "PET ROCK 2015” features THE BLUZ BROTHERS -- "Chicago's premier tribute to Jake & Elwood Blues" -- with special guest Laurie Blazzing from "Joplin: The Janis Joplin Show." The evening also features a special acoustic performance by Northwest Indiana's top club band, The Crawpuppies, plus comedians Marci Deloney and Rudy Ruiz of the "Tomfoolery Fun Club" variety show.

Among auction items are new acoustic and electric guitars, a custom Beat Boogie snare drum, gift baskets, concert tickets, a custom-made Star Case tour manager briefcase, a Bruce Springsteen-autographed "Born To Run" album, band-signed guitars from the bands Foreigner and STYX, and a variety of unique collectibles autographed by a variety of musical artists such as Ted Nugent, Jethro Tull, Bad Company, Charlie Daniels, Cheap Trick, Foghat, Boston, Triumph, Dave Koz, Jim Peterik, Tommy James, The Buckinghams, and many others (selected high rez jpegs of some auction items attached).

All proceeds benefit The Humane Society of Northwest Indiana and are used to cover daily operating expenses the care of animals who look to the shelter for survival, and ultimately securing a happily-ever-after life. The Humane Society of Northwest Indiana is an independent shelter not funded by the government, the national Humane Society organization, nor other sources. It relies on adoption fees and the donations and support of the good people and regional businesses of Northwest Indiana.
