Sugar, Seniors, and Doing Something Nice

rcs-assisted-livingIn the weeks leading up to the holidays, Residential Clinical Services Home Health Care partnered with Bickford Assisted Living and Memory Care, Cedar Creek Health Campus, and Hartsfield Village to bring holiday cheer to their residents.

RCS Marketing Director, Tristen Comegys, shared, “We spent time at each facility decorating sugar cookies with the residents. It was very rewarding to see the smiling faces of the seniors as they reminisced about their past holiday traditions.”

After the cookies were frosted and decorated, the seniors were invited to enjoy their creations. For each cookie that was decorated RCS Home Health Care donated cookies to be included in baskets for families in need of holiday meals. In total, over 100 cookies were decorated and over 100 families got to enjoy a treat during their Thanksgiving meal.

In 1987 Residential Clinical Services was established as a home health care agency committed to excellence in nursing and patient care. Their mission is to assist all patients and their families to make the transition from hospital to home as smooth as possible.
