Submit a PPP Loan Application for Your Small Business

Federal funding is still available for small businesses & nonprofit organizations to keep workers employed during COVID-19. Legacy Foundation is offering assistance to help you apply for a Paycheck Protection Program loan!

Last month, lawmakers approved an extension for small business rescue programs, which added approximately $320 billion to the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) to help small businesses keep their workers employed for eight weeks. Everyone predicted the PPP loans would go quickly, and they are, but you still have time to apply! Approximately 60% of funding has been distributed. If you have been thinking about applying, we strongly encourage you to contact your bank as soon as possible. 

To begin your application, you must contact your bank. Each bank has different document requirements for the application process. Contact your bank today to determine the necessary steps needed to submit your application.

Paycheck Protection Program Technical Assistance Grant has assisted six organizations in receiving over $2 million dollars in PPP loans - Hire professional help to prepare your loan application!

The application process for the SBA Disaster Loan Program can be overwhelming and difficult to navigate. The South Shore Neighborhood Development Corporation, with funding from Legacy Foundation, is providing grants of up to $500 to help cover the cost of hiring a professional to help you prepare and submit all necessary paperwork to provide your business/organization the best chance of obtaining these necessary funds.

To qualify for technical assistance, your small business or nonprofit organization must:

  • be based in Lake County, Indiana;
  • be registered as a business or a non-profit in the State of Indiana;
  • have at least 1 employee but no more than 499 employees;
  • have a minimum of $50,000 in annual payroll expenses;
  • fully complete the included application, and;
  • fully complete the included W-9 for your organization;

Reimbursement will be approved and processed on a first come, first served basis and paid upon receipt of an invoice.
