St. Mary’s School in Crown Point Prepares for Catholic Schools Week Festivities

St-Marys-School-in-Crown-Point-Prepares-for-Catholic-Schools-Week-Festivities-2017 National Catholic Schools Week is the annual celebration of Catholic education. Catholic Schools Week 2017 runs from Sunday January, 29th to Saturday, February 4th. The theme for CSW 2017 is “Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service.” To celebrate Catholic Schools Week at St. Mary Catholic Community School in Crown Point, the school will hold a Pancake Breakfast (7:00 AM to NOON) and Open House (10:30 AM to 1:00 PM) Sunday morning the 29th. Some of the week's fun and educational activities include Support the Troops Day, Living Rosary, Teacher Swap Day, and Staff vs. 8th grade Volleyball Game, Community Day, Pajama Day, and more. The week is capped off by a red carpet themed dinner, dance, and auction for the parents held at the Avalon.

St. Mary Catholic Community School in Crown Point has been educating children in the Roman Catholic tradition since 1872. The school offers grade levels Pre-Kindergarten through eight. St. Mary’s faculty teaches a rich curriculum supported by cutting-edge technology.
