Students were treated to nature walks where they saw a salamander, a large variety of birds, and even a beaver. They learned about how the beaver is eating away at the trees in the forest and building dams in the lake. They also were able to experience the wide open fields the land has to offer and even some fishing, too.

Students were excited to learn that Camp Lawrence offers summer camp where students can spend a week bonding at campfires, going on nature hikes, swimming, doing art, and playing sports, all while growing closer to Jesus Christ. St. Mary’s plans to bring the school back for its’ Field Day in May so everyone can experience nature in such a profound way.
