St-Marys-Deacon-Blesses-Class-Pets-on-the-Feast-Day-of-St-Francis-of-AssisiIn celebration of the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi, Deacon Jeff Burton visited classrooms at St. Mary Catholic Community School to bless the pets. Deacon Jeff stopped in Mrs. Wysock's 2nd grade classroom to bless their bearded dragon named Taylor. Deacon Jeff had never held a bearded dragon before, and while apprehensive at first, he quickly learned what a gentle reptile Taylor was. Mrs. Wysocki's students loved having the opportunity to teach Deacon Jeff about their class pet and be a part of his special blessing.
