St. Jude House will host its annual spring luncheon on Saturday, March 10, 2018.
This yearly event is a great way for families to have a fantastic time together while also providing support for a vital nonprofit service organization. Each year a new theme is brought to life, and never fails to delight guests. This year’s theme, Boots and Bows, highlights all the fun and entertainment that the Wild West has to offer! Guests are invited to come dressed cowboy/cowgirl casual, and are welcome to bring along their favorite doll or stuffed animal companion.
Guests will be treated to a delicious meal of grilled chicken sandwiches (adults) and corn dogs with fries (children). Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available. At the event, guests can pose for and purchase a photo package. Our professional photographer is Jill Marie Photography. Each package costs $30, includes 1-5x7 and 8 wallet photos, and will be mailed out after the event. Each year features a raffle as well, and with prizes including American Girl Dolls, an American Girl Doll horse, and a tractor, this year’s raffle will not disappoint! Participants need not be present to win, and tickets will be sold prior to and during the event. To pre-order raffle tickets, call 219-662-7066, ext. 14. Guests will also enjoy interactive entertainment with Dazzlin’ Dawn, who will perform and teach line dances to all! With various vendors, games, and additional raffle drawings, this event is sure to excite and entertain cowgirls and cowboys of all ages!
Boots and Bows will take place at Avalon Manor in Merrillville, IN. Reserved seating is necessary, and pre-registration is required by March 1st. Admission is $45 for adults; $20 for children 12 and under. Doors open at 11:00am, and lunch will be served at 12:15pm. St. Jude House extends a warm invitation to everyone!
