Springing into Action: Volunteer Opportunities with VNA Hospice NWI

Did you know that VNA Hospice has a choir? AND WE'RE LOOKING FOR NEW MEMBERS!

If you're interested in lifting hearts and being a part of this talented group, please email: vnahospicechoir@gmail.com

The hospice choir was formed in May 2006 by Valparaiso University Professor Eldon Balko. Since 2007, Deena Lawley (pictured back row, center in the black shirt) has served as the choir director and has been faithfully leading the group every since. Under Deena’s direction, the VNA Hospice Choir performs at the VNA Hospice Center, Tree of Remembrance ceremony and memorial services as well as at local skilled nursing and assisted living facilities and for special events in the community.

Blankets for Veterans

VNA Hospice of NWI has an ongoing need for handmade blankets to honor our veterans. Blankets must be at least 4ft x 4ft and red, white, and blue. They can be knitted, crocheted, or quilted but shouldn’t resemble the flag.

Will you help provide blankets for our heroes?
Please contact veterans@vnanwi.org to participate.
