Treat your family to an action-packed night of roller derby as the South Shore Roller Girls battle it out against the Bone City Rollers from Warsaw, IN, for their last home bout of the summer on August 16, 2014. The event will take place at the Jean Shepard Center, 3031 J.F. Mahoney Drive, Hammond, IN, 46323; doors open at 6:30 pm with the first whistle at 7:00 pm.
Roller derby isn't just about the hard hits and booty blocks. It's a highly strategic and aggressive full contact sport that everyone can enjoy! While watching the bout, enjoy food and beer offered by Leroy's Hot Stuff. Other local vendors and half-time entertainment will round out the evening.
You can purchase tickets at the door: $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-10, free admission for children 5 and under. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the National Autism Association of Northwest Indiana in Hobart.
