Upcoming stops include JAK’s Warehouse, Festival of the Lakes
The South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority is continuing its 30 Stops in 30 Days campaign with scheduled stops in St. John, Crown Point, Rensselaer, Hammond, Munster and Schererville. The 30 Stops in 30 Days campaign takes the South Shore Tour Mobile throughout the South Shore, promoting attractions, festivals, businesses and events during the South Shore CVA’s 30th anniversary celebration.
On Wednesday, July 17, the South Shore Tour Mobile will be making a pit-stop at the Family Express located at 8805 W. State Road 114 in Rensselaer from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. From there the South Shore Tour Mobile will be at the Jasper County Fair in Rensselaer from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In addition to registering for the Family Express gift card prizes, visitors of the South Shore Tour Mobile may receive a Crown Brewing key chain.
From 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, the South Shore Tour Mobile will be at Crown Brewing in Crown Point. Visitors can enjoy craft beers, Carriage Court Pizza as well as receive a 30 Stops in 30 Days mini frisbee.
On Friday, July 19, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the South Shore Tour Mobile will be passing out four Grape Escape prize packs at the City of Hammond’s Festival of the Lakes. Visitors may also enjoy carnival rides, fair food, and live entertainment from the Crawpuppies, Better Than Ezra and Lifehouse.
From 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, the South Shore Tour Mobile will be at the Grape Escape wine festival at Centennial Park in Munster. The festival will feature a fine arts fair, foods from around the region, an ethnic market as well as the wine tent. Visitors to the Tour Mobile may receive a JAK’s Warehouse gift card in addition to an entry for the daily $25 Family Express gift card and the $2,000 Family Express gift card grand prize.
On Sunday, July 21, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., the South Shore Tour Mobile will make a stop at JAK’s Warehouse in Schererville. One lucky visitor to the South Shore Tour Mobile will receive a free birthday package at JAK’s Warehouse. The birthday package is valued at $399 and includes a three hour party featuring pizza, pop and two hours of attractions for 13 participants.
Heading into the fourth week of the 30 Stops in 30 Days campaign, the South Shore Tour Mobile will be at The Shrine of Christ’s Passion in St. John on Monday, July 22, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. passing out free beach balls.
