The South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority was recently recognized for the 30 Stops in 30 Days campaign and the Rube Goldberg Machine event video through two awards.
Through the Hermes Creative Awards, the South Shore CVA was named a 2014 Gold winner for the 30 Stops and a Rube Goldberg Machine! video. The South Shore CVA was also awarded an Honorable Mention for their 30th anniversary campaign 30 Stops in 30 Days.
In honor of the South Shore CVA’s 30th anniversary, the 30 Stops in 30 Days campaign was used to highlight the many attractions, events, businesses and restaurants that make up the South Shore. Taking the Tour Mobile through five counties, the South Shore CVA gave away prizes leading up to the grand finale, which included a Rube Goldberg MachineTM, at the Indiana Welcome Center. Information on the 30 Faces of Tourism, or the people who have greatly impacted the tourism industry along the South Shore, was also released.
The Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition that awards the creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional materials and programs, and emerging technologies. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, graphic design shops, production companies, web and digital creators and freelancers.
