South Shore Clean Cities Hosts NIRPC’s Joe Exl on ‘The Green Commuter’

Discussing issues concerning the region’s rivers and streams

sscc-iSouth Shore Clean Cities (SSCC) welcomes Northwest Indiana Regional Planning Commission’s (NIRPC) Senior Water Resource Planner, Joe Exl, to the March 5 edition of The Green Commuter on Lakeshore Public Radio.

Exl, and Green Commuter host, Carl Lisek, will discuss topics including major issues affecting rivers and streams in our region, and the Deep River-Portage Burns Waterway Initiative. This collaborative effort aims to restore nearly 125 miles of streams the state classified as impaired.
