salvation-army-logoJoin The Salvation Army for a delicious gourmet dinner and to support The Salvation Army’s programs to combat hunger in Lake County.

UCook’s cooking school chefs will create a special meal for you, and your donation of dried and canned goods will help provide a healthy meal for those who are in financial crisis or homeless. The event will be Thursday, February 26th at Service Doctor located at 515 US 30 in Merrillville between the hours of 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Just bring in any dried or canned goods to get admission to this event. There will be a separate charge of $5 for appetizers and desserts. We will also have a silent auction and door prizes.

Thank you to Service Doctor Remodeling & Design and UCook Entertaining Cooking School for sponsoring this event.

About the Salvation Army
The Salvation Army, an evangelical part of the Universal Christian Church, has been supporting those in need, in His name, without discrimination for more than 130 years. Nearly 30 million Americans receive assistance from The Salvation Army each year through the broadcast array of social services such as providing food for the hungry, relief for disaster victims, assistance for the disabled, outreach to the elderly/ill, clothing and shelter to the homeless and opportunities for underprivileged children.
