South Shore Dance Alliance and the Wirt-Emerson Dance Department are pleased to announce that Renaldo Maurice Gardner, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater company member, will teach a master contemporary class for intermediate/advanced level dancers at the Wirt-Emerson Visual and Performing Arts Academy dance department studio, 210 N. Grand Blvd. in Gary (Miller), Indiana, from 6 – 7:30 p.m on Thursday, January 22 and Friday, January 23, 2015.
As a member of the internationally-acclaimed Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Gardner tours and performs all over the world. His unique style, his boundless energy and enthusiasm, and his love for the art all combine to make his master classes a rewarding and extraordinary experience for all aspiring dancers. This is not to be missed!
This is a master contemporary class recommended for intermediate and advanced level dancers. Cost is $25 per person for one day, or $40 per person for two days. Registration will take place in the Wirt-Emerson Dance Studio office from 5:00 to 5:55 p.m. before each day of class. Class will start promptly at 6:00 p.m. Late arrivals will not be admitted.
Although same day registration is permitted, space is limited and pre-registration is recommended. Dancers wishing to pre-register, may
