Cub Scouts Pack 510 of Dyer is now accepting registration for the 2019-20 school year. Students in kindergarten through fifth grade are encouraged to join (Dyer residents and nonresidents welcome). The registration fee is $55 and includes a variety of activities throughout the year ranging from Pinewood Derby car racing to camping at an indoor sports arena to a banquet with dinner and dancing. Outdoor activities this past year included a fishing derby, toy rocket launches, outdoor movie night, miniature golfing, kayaking and more. Scouts meet 2-3 times monthly with their grade-specific Den and have larger Pack meetings once a month, typically at Protsman School in Dyer. Siblings are invited to join in the events and meetings.
