Adult Hockey (Ages 18+)
Players must be registered with USA Hockey prior to playing. Each player must be 18 or older. Register as an individual or as a team. A team consists of 13 players. Goalies play for free. This is a no-check hockey league. There will be eight games, plus a season-ending tournament. The league will begin in January 2025. Register by calling 219-661-2271.

Learn to Skate (Ages 3 and Older)
Learn the basics of ice skating, including balance, skating forward and backward, stopping and more! Class is held once a week for five weeks beginning Tuesday, Jan. 21. Ice skates are provided. Helmets are recommended.
There are four age levels, including Tots (ages 3-5); Beginners 1 (Ages 6-18); Beginners 2 (Ages 6-18) (instructor approval required); and Adults (18 and older).

Winter Little Dribblers
Learn how to dribble, shoot, pass and more! This program is for children in pre-K through eighth grade. Pre-school and kindergarten session will be held from 4:30-5:15 p.m. on Fridays from Jan. 17 to March 7. The first through eighth grade session will be held from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Tuesdays from Jan. 14 to March 4. Instruction will take place at Courtside, 1440 E. Joliet St.

Ice Show
Learn to Skate participants will showcase their talents during the third annual Crown Point Athletics Ice Show from 3-5 p.m. Feb. 15 at Bulldog Park. Families, friends and the community are invited to attend. Show admission is free. In event of inclement weather, the show will be held the week of Feb. 17.

Girls Softball
In 2024, more than 1,000 girls played in the Crown Point Athletics Softball leagues. Step up to the mound this spring and sign up for our 2025 spring/summer league! Girls ages 3 and older are eligible to register. Games are played Monday-Thursday at the Crown Point Sportsplex beginning in May.
