"I think this is what we’re all about as a community," Kevin Kosek, chief marketing officer at REGIONAL Federal Credit Union, said. "By bringing our fellow businesses together to celebrate our new branch, in a community where we’re excited to put down roots, we’re embodying what REGIONAL truly stands for."

Having proudly led REGIONAL Federal Credit Union as CEO and President since 1993, Jill Banning is confident her staff will hit the ground running to form new relationships and establish REGIONAL Federal Credit Union as a financial leader in Winfield.

"Our employees are eager to serve the Winfield community," Banning said. "They’ve been waiting for this for a long time. It feels like this project has taken a while to complete, but the key thing is that they really want to be here; they want to serve and be part of the community. They’re all trained and just waiting for members to walk in so they can help them in the ways they need."

While REGIONAL Federal Credit Union has proudly and diligently served Northwest Indiana through its Hammond, Portage, and Valparaiso branches for years, the addition of the Winfield branch will bring ease of access and new opportunities to the surrounding communities.

With a host of services – including traditional checking and savings accounts, youth services such as the Student Credit Union, a host of loan options, and co-op ATM locations at shared branches – REGIONAL Federal Credit Union has plenty to offer new and existing members at its Winfield location.

"I think having more locations gives people the opportunity to visit any of our branches that are convenient for them," Bobbie Escalante, Chairwoman of the Board at REGIONAL Federal Credit Union, said. "Winfield is a growing area, and REGIONAL is a growing credit union ready to meet their financial needs. This is our fourth branch, and I’m excited to see things improve from here."

For the time being, the Winfield branch will open its lobby and drive-up lanes at 9 a.m. on weekdays and Saturdays. In the future, Winfield’s drive-up lanes will open starting at 8 a.m. on weekdays.
