Redwood Landscape puts customers first with seasonal packages and a passion to serve

After 20 years of living in the same house, it may still be beautiful, but your landscaping might not have that same great curb appeal it had when you bought the home. Fortunately, Redwood Landscape offers comprehensive landscaping services to make your property look brand new.

With hardscape and landscape design services, refresh services, and maintenance services for residential and commercial properties, as well as snow and ice management for commercial properties, the options for revamping your property are extensive.

Head of Hardscape/Landscape Design and Sales Kevin Kogut shared that a major quality that makes Redwood Landscape stand out from the competition is the company’s ability to tackle a broad assortment of projects.

“We can do 100% design and installation from general landscaping on a house to outdoor living with a grill, fire pit, patio, and pergola,” Kogut said. “We have people come to us who want large projects. We have plumbers, carpenters, and electricians, making it easy for the customer to get everything done.”

Whether you're looking for a major renovation or simple maintenance, Redwood is customer-friendly and offers seasonal packages. Head of Maintenance and Sales Ron Vale said this allows the customer to plan a monthly budget based on their needs and enables Redwood Landscape to anticipate customer needs.

“To create a seasonal package, we analyze data from seven years worth of cuttings, maintenance, etc.,” Vale said. “We found that we did cuts for a specific customer between 28 and 32 times on average, so we went right in the middle and included 30 cuts in their seasonal package. We divide that by eight payments when we’re servicing them, which is an April through November timeframe. They can budget since they know it's coming the first of every month, and it's made life a lot easier for us and our customers.”

In addition to Redwood Landscape’s analysis of customer data, customers can request things like fertilization and spring cleanup to ensure that they are getting the services that suit their needs.

While the services Redwood Landscape offers are a major reason it is one of the top-rated landscaping companies in the Region, both Kogut and Vale also credited the workplace culture with the company’s success.

Kogut believes that the staff’s desire to do a good job on every project ensures that the team delivers quality service every time. This consistent quality has also led to great relationships with builders in the area who then recommend Redwood Landscape to their connections.

Since he first began at Redwood Landscape, Vale has drawn strength and inspiration from Owner Todd Zandstra’s positive, team-oriented mindset.

“I’ve been here about 10 months, and I think it's because of what the owners, Todd and his wife Joy, do for the company,” Vale said. “There’s such passion behind what drives them in wanting to grow the business and help people. He wants to help people grow, and having that mentality makes a culture that's fun to work in. It's exhilarating and exciting. I think it's the whole package.”

Zandstra is grateful for the great workplace culture at Redwood Landscape, which centers around customers and putting their needs first.

“What differentiates us and the entire team is our passion,” Zandstra said. “I can’t tell you how many customers will call in and I pick it up or I call them back and they'll say, ‘I called that other company six times, and they never called me back.’ It's our passion to do what's right for the customer.”
