Record Number of St. Mary’s Students Pedal to School

Record-Number-of-St-Marys-Students-Pedal-to-School-2017_01On Friday, May 12th, students of St. Mary Catholic Community School in Crown Point pedaled to school. Students were excited and many parents joined in on the school’s annual “Ride-your-bike-to-school Day.” The students traveled from The Lake County Fairgrounds to St. Mary’s were they were met at the school by many of their classmates who rode from other directions. Over 175 happy students rode their bikes to school along with dozens of parents. The school has participated in this event for several years and this is the greatest participation to date. St. Mary’s kindergartner Jacob Devon said, “I had fun. My favorite part was the bumps!”
