Purdue Northwest’s Cassidy Deno Named CoSIDA Academic All-American of the Year, Johnson, Coe Named All-CCAC Selections

cassidy-deno-all-americanPurdue Northwest's Cassidy Deno Named CoSIDA Academic All-American of the Year With her combination of academic and athletic talents, Purdue University Northwest senior Cassidy Deno has been named the second College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-American of the Year in school history, as released Monday.

Deno (Otterbein, Ind./Benton Central), a 6-foot senior shooting guard for the Pride women’s basketball team, was selected as the top vote getter among the 10-member CoSIDA College Division Academic All-American team, which was voted upon after district awards were announced Feb. 9.

Purdue Northwest's Johnson, Coe Named All-CCAC Selections Purdue University Northwest men’s basketball players Torrance Johnson and Tyree Coe were both honored with all-league honors for their efforts this season, as selected by the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference head coaches.

Johnson (Chicago Heights, Ill./Chicago Hope Academy) earned second-team all-CCAC honors and Coe (Fishers, Ind./Fishers) was tabbed an all-CCAC honorable mention, as released Monday night.
