Each month you can come out and enjoy Sunset Hill Farm with the park naturalist. A new month will always bring a new topic for exploring and discussing from geology to history and beyond. There is always more to explore at Sunset Hill!

Young Artists at Sunset Hill
Saturday, June 14th, 1-2pm, Sunset Hill Farm, $8

Youth painting instruction for all skill levels, where the focus of the project is different each month. Participants will create and take home their project the same day.

Meditation Workshop
Saturday, June 14th, 2-4pm, Brincka Cross Gardens, $25

This two hour workshop will help you understand the ins and outs of meditation and prepare you for the more intense four week series.

Family Night
Wednesday, June 18th, 6-7pm, Sunset Hill Farm, Free

Escape the weekday grind by coming out to enjoy a relaxing evening activity with the Park Naturalist. Sunset Hill is a vast area full of many different living things just waiting to be discovered. Take a break during the week to enjoy all that nature has to offer at Sunset Hill!

An Educator from Purdue Extension will provide tips and techniques for jelly making-from traditional methods to fast and easy methods using new gadgets that can be found in stores.

4 Week Meditation Series
Friday, 6/20-7/18, 5:30-7 p.m., Brincka Cross Gardens, $35/Series or $10/Session

Join our instructor for 4 consecutive Fridays to learn the ins and outs of meditation, which will focus on both the mind and body. Participants must attend a Meditation Workshop before participating in the 4 week Meditation Series.

Yoga/Meditation Retreat

Join our instructor for a restorative retreat that will focus on both mind and body by incorporating meditative techniques.

Melt & Pour Soap Making
Saturday, June 21st, 9-10am, Sunset Hill Farm, Free

Come to Sunset Hill to learn an easy method for making your own soap in the microwave. You will be provided with the recipe and also take home one bar of lavender soap. You are encouraged to take notes so that you can continue the soap making journey at home. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Reiki 2- The Next Level

Continue your learning and practice the art of Reiki. This class will add to what you learned in the Reiki Level 1 class. Participants must take Reiki 1 before participating in Reiki 2.

Weekly Open Studio with Acrylics

Beginners will learn basic painting techniques from an experienced acrylic painter. Seasoned artists are also welcome to come and bring their own ideas for projects. No personal supplies needed.
