A video produced by Purdue University North Central alumnus Wade Breitzke, president of the multimedia company 27 Entertainment in Valparaiso, for the United Way of LaPorte County was recently honored by the Indiana Association of United Ways for producing the Best Campaign Video of 2012.
The Indiana Association of United Ways awarded Breitzke and is professional team with first place in the Metro III-V category for producing the United Way of LaPorte County's 2012 Campaign Video and was the top award winner in the 15th Annual Golden Excellence in Media Contest.
He wrote, produced, and directed the original video that was shown during every United Way campaign presentation throughout LaPorte County.
"The video received several standing ovations and has inspired many donors to continue giving to United Way and it has inspired new donors to give to United Way," said David Sisk, United Way of LaPorte County manager of Community Investment. "The award winning video was up against every other United Way campaign video in Indiana, about 90 videos in all. This is a tremendous honor. We are very proud of this accomplishment."

The United Way of LaPorte County recently wrapped up its campaign, having surpassed its goal, raising $1.012 million that will be used to assist agencies serving people throughout LaPorte County.
Breitzke earned his Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies in 2009. He created 27 Entertainment, a company dedicated to video production for short commercials, motion graphic projects and promotional pieces, wedding videography, DJ services and event lighting. He recently launched a photo and video media company, wecreate media, in Valparaiso.
