Ozinga was recently honored with two awards at the Wisconsin Ready Mix Concrete Association (WRMCA) 36th Annual Concrete Design Awards ceremony.
The awards highlight the best use of ready mix concrete in Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, focusing on the following categories: Agricultural, Commercial, Decorative, Education, Healthcare, and Public, ICF, Industrial, Facility, Municipal Infrastructure, Other, Parking Lot, Tilt-Up and regional projects.
Ozinga was awarded the Commercial award for their work on the 7Seventy7 building, a 34-story high rise that consisted of 40,000 cubic yards of ready mix concrete. Ozinga partnered with contractor CD Smith Construction, architect Solomon Cordwell Buenz, and engineer Magnusson Klemencic Associates.
The fourth-generation family owned American company was also awarded with the Southeast Region award for the Meddaugh Residence, which consisted of a patio, driveway, and walkway that used integral color as well as stamping. Ozinga partnered with contractor Next Level Concrete to complete this project.

The Concrete Design Award Ceremony took place on Friday, March 16th at the Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake.
