Heading into our tenth year, the Life Sites continue to experience tremendous growth with an audience of over 65,000 readers and good news flowing from over 150 entities that we partner with. There is definitely no shortage of great and fantastic things happening across the region! Without further ado, I’d like to welcome some of the new and upcoming Partners of Life to our media family! First Merchants Bank never ceases to plan events that have an underlying purpose as they see value in demonstrating social responsibility. Some of their 2018 initiatives included sponsoring the Back to School event alongside the Hammond Family YMCA, hosting the Munster Concert Series, donating money to Humane Indiana, Girls on the Run, and Methodist Hospitals’ Northwest Indiana Breast Care Center.

Korellis Roofing has been busy raising their workplace standards as high as their roofs! They are committed to safety, performance, and workmanship, and even offer a structured apprenticeship program that allows Korellis craftsmen to complete a 5-year program through local unions. Did you know that American Licorice Company, based right out of La Porte, is the place where all Sour Punch candy products are made!? If that’s not enough good news, they’re also strong supporters of several community organizations and events ranging from Future Farmers of America, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana, and Rebuilding Together La Porte to the Rock the Block Back to School Rally, Sweet Goods Community Garden and more!
