NWIndianaLife.com Announced as a Proud Sponsor of 2013 Mudathlon-Northwest Indiana

NWIndianaLife.com, part of the Ideas in Motion Media network of all positive news and stories of Northwest Indiana, has joined as the lead regional sponsor of the 2013 Mudathlon - Northwest Indiana, one of the biggest and dirtiest racing events to take place in Northwest Indiana each year.

The partnership of NWindianaLife.com and the Mudathlon will bring good news and good times together in a fun filled, mud-covered, online, social media, and live event partnership.

NWindianaLife.com will be promoting the event actively ahead of time through the LIFE networks, including their websites, email and social networks. The promotion will culminate in an all-day, in-and-out of the mud coverage, via articles, photos and video.

Mudthalon – Northwest Indiana, in its fourth year sweeping the region, will take place on July 20, 2013 at Graeber Family Farms in Valparaiso, Indiana. The event is widely popular with running enthusiasts across the country, and 2,700 runners throughout the United States converged on the Northwest Indiana race in 2012.

Mudathlon offers an adventurous off-road run that is uniquely challenging and focused on fun from start to finish. Mudathletes will navigate a three-mile course with 40 obstacles, includes the Slide of Life, Cargo Net Climb, and Creek Crossings. Follow that up with a Post-Race party where the beer is flowing, the brats are smoking, and the music is jamming.

"We are thrilled to team up for a second year with NWIndianaLife!" said Mudathlon President, Jeff Graves.  "Their enthusiasm and excitement to get dirty creates a great partnership for the community."

Seeking as much natural and muddy terrain as possible, the course takes participants though numerous obstacles, including Heaping Hay Bales, 40-foot Tunnel of Terror, plus great water obstacles. Add in a costume contest, delicious grilled Johnsonville brats, and a killer band you have a can’t-miss event.

“We had an incredible team in 2012 and I am so excited to lead an even bigger and better team this year partnering with Porter-Starke Services,” said Theresa Potesta, Executive Sales Assistant at Ideas in Motion Media. “Let’s get muddy for a great cause.”
