Northwest Medical Group recently welcomed Ashley Milcarek, DNP, FNP-C, a family nurse practitioner who specializes in obstetrics and gynecology. Milcarek joined the practice of Julius Ellis, MD, at Northwest Medical Group – Women’s Health. She will be seeing patients at two locations: 1509 State St. in La Porte and at 104 East Culver Road in Knox.
Milcarek received both her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana.
As an advanced practice nurse, she offers a range of gynecological care for women of all ages. Her areas of interest include well woman and breast exams, family planning, prenatal care, reproductive issues, and menopausal care.
