To learn more about these and other various factors that contribute to breast cancer, join board-certified general surgeon Nancy Han, MD, FACS, at Northwest Health’s next HealthyU wellness seminar. The free event entitled Early Detection is the BREAST Protection will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., on Thursday, May 30, 2024 in the Community Room at Northwest Health – Porter located 85 E. U.S. Hwy. 6 in Valparaiso.
During her presentation, Dr. Han will highlight actionable steps women can take to mitigate their risk of breast cancer, such as adopting a healthy diet, maintaining a regular exercise routine, and prioritizing routine screenings. She will lead a question and answer session following her talk.
