Northwest Health – Porter has announced its Team Members of the Year, honoring individuals who were nominated by their peers for their outstanding performance and exemplary service. Ashley Dickinson, Chief Executive Officer, Northwest Health explained that this annual process has become a special tradition and a component of its efforts to celebrate caregivers and reinforce their top priority: delivering quality care and a great experience for each patient.
“I’d like to congratulate each of our Team Members of the Year and thank them for their ongoing dedication to compassionate, quality care,” said Dickinson. “We value their commitment to excellence and are proud to have each of them as part of our Northwest Health team.”
The outstanding team members are:
Kelli Bos MSN, RN – Team Member of the Year – Porter
Bos is clinical liaison and lead educator for Northwest Health – Porter. She is described as a team member who makes others feel completely comfortable and one that helps build their confidence. Another peer noted that she is a guide who makes her team members and the organization better each and every day. Over the past year she has dedicated herself and her team to improving orientation on each unit and supporting students with enhanced experience at Northwest Health.
Joe Ortt – Non-Clinical Manager of the Year – Porter
Ortt is the director of facilities for Northwest Health. He has been applauded for stepping into a large leadership role this past year and immediately working to make it better. His peers stated that he does an amazing job coordinating with his team to address the ongoing issues of large facilities. Others noted that he is dedicated in supporting his team and patient care, while continuously advocating for quality and safety.
Melissa Rainwater, RT(R) - Clinical Manager of the Year - Porter
Rainwater is the manager of diagnostic imaging at Northwest Health – Porter. She is actively known throughout the organization as a friend, upstanding co-worker and great leader. She has been described as “supportive to her team and the organization while eager to learn new things.” Another team member stated she is kind, compassionate, trustworthy, and offers great feedback, which leads to her being well respected by all staff, peers, physicians and leadership.
