The Inpatient Rehabilitation floor at Northwest Health – Portage recently enhanced the way they celebrate patients who have successfully completed, or graduated from, their intensive rehabilitation programs and are now ready to embark on the next chapter of their lives with renewed strength and vitality.
"We are thrilled to celebrate the accomplishments of our graduating patients. Their determination, hard work, and resilience have been truly inspiring,” said Jennifer Sobczynski, manager of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. “At their time of discharge, our graduates receive a certificate, homemade Inpatient Rehabilitation tote bag, and a Ms. or Mr. Independent bracelet. As they leave the unit, our team lines up to celebrate the patient with cheers, clapping, hugs and high-fives.”
The Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Northwest Health - Portage provides comprehensive care and support to patients recovering from a wide range of medical conditions, including strokes, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic surgeries, and neurological disorders.
