The public is invited to attend the July 10 meeting of the Franciscan Senior Promise group.
The topic will be rehabilitation and will be presented by Barb Smith, manager of inpatient therapy services at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago at Franciscan St. Margaret Health-Hammond.
The meeting will take place at 10 a.m. at the hospital, 5454 Hohman Ave. Attendees should check at the information desk in the front lobby to learn the meeting room location.
Franciscan Senior Promise, a program of Franciscan St. Margaret Health, is a club that offers people aged 55 and older information on health issues and advice on lifestyles choices, along with the opportunity to socialize and make new acquaintances.
Meetings take place monthly, with game days, movie and popcorn days, defensive driving courses, a yearly flu shot clinic and daytime and overnight trips among scheduled activities.
