Library Film Series to show We’re the Millers

Sunday Matinee will screen We’re the Millers in the Bertha Wood meeting room at Thomas Library, 200 W. Indiana Avenue, Chesterton, at 1:30 pm on Sunday, December 8. Westchester Public Library films are free of charge and open to the public.

We’re the Millers features Jason Sudeikis as David Burke, a small-time pot dealer whose clientele includes chefs and soccer moms, but no kids – after all, he has his scruples. Burke learns the hard way that no good deed goes unpunished when he tries to help out some local teens and ends up getting jumped by a trio of punks who steal his stash and leave him in debt to his supplier, Brad (Ed Helms).

Now, in order to wipe his slate clean, Burke is required by Brad to bring in his latest shipment from Mexico. Burke devises a fail-safe plan: by twisting the arms of his neighbors, cynical stripper Rose (Jennifer Aniston) and wannabe customer Kenny (Will Poulter), and the streetwise runaway Casey (Emma Roberts), he now has one fake wife, two pretend kids and a huge, shiny RV. They all head south of the border for a Fourth of July weekend that is sure to end with a bang.

We’re the Millers is rated R and has a running time of 110 minutes. For more information, call the Audio-Visual Department at 926-7696.
