It’s Time for a Password Update
Have you updated your REGIONAL Online and Mobile Banking password recently?
With a new year just starting, it’s time to make sure you’ve got a strong password on your REGIONAL account, and stay a step ahead of the scammers, hackers and other bad actors on the internet. It’s a good idea to change your passwords a few times a year.
How to Change Your REGIONAL Password
Visit regionalfcu.org on a web browser (not the Mobile app, but you can use the web browser on your mobile device).
From the menu, select “My Profile” and click “Update Profile” from the options shown.
Click or tap “Change Password” and follow the instructions.
What Makes a Strong Password?
A strong password consists of upper and lowercase letters, numerals and special characters.
For your REGIONAL account, your new password must be at least 8 characters, and up to 32. The longer, the better, but if your password is extremely difficult you may need to use an app to keep your strong passwords. The good news: many mobile devices now already have password storage apps built in.
Your REGIONAL password also cannot contain: your account number, Social Security number, your full name, phone number, or spaces.
NOTE: if you use the REGIONAL Mobile app in addition to Online Banking, your password will be updated on the app, too.
