New Vistas High School 2014 Winter Term Now Enrolling

NEW_VISTAS_HIGH_SCHOOL_WINTER_TERM_ENROL-1Neighbors' Educational Opportunities (NEO) New Vistas High School invites new and returning high school students to register for the 2014-2015 school year. Registration and orientation for winter semester will be held at 9am on Friday, November 21st at 5391 Central Avenue in Portage. Students who wish to enroll for New Vistas High School's winter term must attend this registration and orientation.

Administration, faculty and staff will be on hand to welcome incoming students and their families, conduct building tours, and share curriculum information and other program highlights such as career pathways counseling. Each student is promised access to a caring community dedicated to learning, a Core 40 Curriculum, smaller class sizes, accelerated credit opportunities, a foray into community service, college and career focus programs, a lunch program, and distance learning opportunities. Other support systems are offered including child care and tutoring.

Neighbors' New Vistas High School is a free public school open to any Indiana resident who is 14 years of age, has completed the eighth grade, and is striving to earn a high school diploma. The school provides a relevant educational program that meets the students' own particular learning styles, abilities and needs. It offers an opportunity for learners of all ages and abilities to re-engage school in their own way and at their own pace.
