What are NAP credits?
2014-2015 Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) tax credits are available to donors of The Caring Place. NAP credits are a great way to support our organization while gaining significant tax credits.
How does it work?
Donations of $100 or more are eligible for a 50% Indiana tax credit and a deduction at the federal level if you itemize. Each $100 in gifts from an Indiana resident who tax bracket is 28% generates an estimated $64 in tax savings ($50 NAP tax credit and $14 in federal tax savings), so each $100 you give costs you only $36.
To receive NAP credits, please send a check of $100 or more made out to "The Caring Place" with "NAP" written on the memo line of the check. Mail checks to: The Caring Place 150 Lincolnway Suite #3002 Valparaiso, IN 46383.
