The Munster Police Department is currently seeking donations through early July towards this year's National Night Out Against Crime Celebration, which will be held on Tuesday, August 1st from 5pm to 9pm at the Munster Community Pool. The event is held annually to promote police and community partnerships through a variety of both fun and educational activities for all ages.
This year's event will include free swimming for Munster residents, door prizes, kids games and bounce houses, safety demonstrations, giveaways from local businesses and community organizations, crime prevention information, a magic show, a helicopter landing, a great closing fireworks show for the public, and more.
This event is completely funded through donations. If you would like to provide a donation, please make checks payable to the Town of Munster (memo: NNO) and mail them to the Munster Police Department, c/o Community Policing Unit, 1001 Ridge Road, Munster, IN 46321.
