Students started the day with discussion and demonstration to learn the elements of public speaking. In the afternoon students rehearsed effective delivery skills by incorporating both verbal and non-verbal technique. Each student was assigned a competitive forensics event which ranged from acting to current event based. In addition to learning presentation skills, speakers practiced critical and higher level thinking skills in developing content.
