Munster High School Marching Band to Compete at ISSMA State Finals

Munster High School140 students from Munster High School’s marching band will pack up their instruments and head to Indianapolis for the opportunity to compete for the 46th Annual ISSMA Class B state title on Saturday, November 3rd at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Under the direction of Band Director, Mr. Bret Winternheimer, and assisted by Ms. Brenna Giazzon, the Munster High School Marching band advanced at their regional qualifier on October, 13th and then advanced again at semi-state this past weekend to secure a spot as one of the ten best programs of their size in the state.

The marching band will be performing music by Randy Newman’s Suite from the movie Pleasantville and Quirk by Karl Jenkins. Admission is $20.00 for adults and $18.00 for students and preschool aged children. The schedule of performance times can be found at www.issma.net.
