Munster High School competed at the 2016 NSDA National Tournament in Salt Lake City, Utah. The tournament was held on June 13 to June 17. Munster High School was named a School of Excellence, an award given to the top 20 speech and debate schools in nation. Munster High School is one of four schools in the country to win a school of excellence award for the 5th consecutive year. Competing against over 4000 students, Munster had several students advance. The Director of Forensics at MHS is Jordan Mayer.
