Thaddeus Agee, Health Unit Partner (lives in Griffith, Indiana)
Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Thaddeus is a very compassionate individual. He is responsive to the needs of the staff, physicians, and our patient's families. Recently, there was a family member who was visiting a patient in the ICU who did not have money to get home from the hospital after their visit. Thaddeus, whom everyone calls Troy, gave the family member money from his personal resources to get home on the bus. The family was very grateful and thankful. Troy's generosity is an example of the Spirit of Methodist at work and his actions are an inspiring example of going above and beyond the call of duty.

Reverend Marie Siroky, Chaplain (lives in Portage, Indiana)
Spiritual Care Services
Rev. Marie Siroky is a valued member of the Spiritual Care Services team. She received four SPIRIT cards from employees across campus recognizing her hard work and dedication in supporting our patients and their families. She was also recognized during rounding by a patient for her cheerful and helpful attitude. Rev. Siroky presided over our annual Blessing of the Hands during Nurses Week in May. This annual event illustrates the great work that our nurses hands do each and every day at Methodist Hospitals.
